Nintendo is making an alarm clock

Nintendo has announced a new gadget, Alarmo, a $99.99 motion-controlled alarm clock available in early 2025. You can snooze it with a gesture or turn it off by getting out of bed. It features immersive sounds from five Switch games, with more coming via updates, and offers sleep tracking. Switch Online subscribers can buy it early.

Alarmo includes modes like "Steady" and "Gentle" for varying alarm intensities, along with a traditional button mode. This announcement follows the recent release of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and the opening of the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto.
